Got a Question?

Below are the most frequently asked questions that I have been asked by people during my many years in practice.

Hypnosis is an altered state of awareness, you are more aware of everything that is happening to you. It is a perfectly natural state and is usually accompanied by a pleasant state of physical relaxation.

Have you ever been so involved in a task that you have lost track of time? Have you ever driven from one place to another and arrived safely but not remembered the journey? Have you ever day-dreamed?

These are all everyday examples of being in an altered state of awareness.

None at all. Hypnosis is a proven therapeutic aid to all sorts of problems. The therapist guides you to your own resolutions based upon what you seek to achieve.

No, you are in a very relaxed state, you are aware of what is around you and everything that is happening to you.

Only those who are high on drugs or alcohol or perhaps those who are mentally handicapped in the extreme cannot be hypnotised. The depth of the hypnotic state will be different for different people.

Simple problems like nail biting can be removed in 2-3 sessions whilst more serious problems may take longer. This will be  discussed in your first session, where we are able to talk about your problem and discuss the therapy best suited to you.
